Level Best Concrete Flooring have completed their latest Floor Renovation project in the North-West of England. The Yorkshire-based refurbishment specialist have completed a 100,000 square foot warehouse floor refurbishment in Speke, Liverpool, Merseyside.
Following the previous tenant falling into administration, Level Best were contacted by the building landlord to complete a warehouse floor dilapidation inspection. The purpose of the dilapidation inspection and survey in Liverpool, Merseyside was to review the existing slab condition following the previous tenancy with a view to advising, repairing and returning the warehouse floor back to its pre-let base build condition, making the warehouse floor suitable to go back onto the industrial property letting market.
Once onsite in Speke, Liverpool, Merseyside Level Best commenced their scope of works with internal and external full depth structural slab replacements. Level Best worked closely with the structural engineer to remove the existing defective concrete slabs in localised areas and reinstate reinforced warehouse floor slabs, equal in terms of structural integrity to the remaining adjacent warehouse slabs.
Further scope of works involved internal and external concrete floor slab repairs, ranging from full depth racking bolt removal and reinstatement to surface crack repairs and surface joint arris breakdown repairs. All repairs are completed in accordance with the industry repair best practice guidance and are tailored to ensure future operational, maintenance and serviceability issues are avoided for the incoming tenant on this warehouse unit in Speke, Liverpool, North-West England. All repairs are completed using repair materials with structural properties equal to or greater than the existing adjacent warehouse floor slabs.
On completion of all structural concrete floor repairs and warehouse floor surface repairs, Level Best completed a RenoFlor floor treatment system. This industrial concrete floor process involves cleaning, polishing and sealing the warehouse floor, improving abrasion and surface wear properties whilst enhancing surface anti-dusting and aesthetic appearance.
