Warehouse floor structural assessments and inspections

Level Best Concrete Flooring are regularly completing existing warehouse floor inspections, surveys, and assessments in Yorkshire amongst other Home Counties in the UK and Ireland.

This warehouse inspection was completed in Sheffield, South Yorkshire on behalf of a landlord who wanted to better understand the structural suitability and performance of their real estate unit. This was to allow the letting agents to better market and lease the warehouse unit to get a suitable tenant in place.

Level Best were engaged to complete a full structural slab appraisal. This involves the insitu testing of the slab and the subbase below through a series of full depth coring works. The number of cores taken is representative of the size of the unit. The concrete cores are then inspected and tested in a laboratory, with the findings compiled and a structural slab assessment completed.

The structural appraisal is then completed using modern design software in accordance with The Concrete Society’s TR34 guidance document. This enables this South Yorkshire based unit to be let in line with the latest guidelines and regulations for modern industrial and logistics operations.
