Warehouse floor renovation project commences in Leicestershire

Level Best’s concrete floor dilapidation, refurbishment and repair team have commenced major floor renovation works on a warehouse floor slab on Magna Park in Lutterworth, Leicestershire.

Initial scope of works in Lutterworth, Leicestershire will involve the removal of previous tenant installed racking bolt fixings. Level Best adopt a best practice method of removing racking anchor bolts. This method involves the full depth coring of the slab allowing the bolt to be removed full depth in its entirety. The resulting void is then prepared, primed and infilled with an industrial-grade cementitious repair mortar. The reinstatement material achieves a compressive strength equal to or greater than that of the surrounding warehouse floor slab.

Level Best’s remaining scope of works will involve; full depth structural warehouse floor infills, previous tenant installed floor paint line marking demarcation removal and a RenoFlor clean and seal floor treatment restoration system.

Alongside completing existing warehouse floor slab repairs Level Best’s Floor Renovation Services involves initial; warehouse floor slab inspections, warehouse floor slab condition reports, reinstatement cost advice (RCAs) and structural slab appraisals determining future warehouse loadings maximum potentials.

Level Best’s will remain on site for a further 3 months on Magna Park in Lutterworth, Leicestershire working towards the main contract completion and handover date.
