Warehouse concrete floor renovation in Minworth, Staffordshire

Level Best Concrete Flooring, the concrete floor clean, polish and seal experts from East-Yorkshire, has completed the full scope of works in Unit B as part of this concrete floor slab renovation dilapidation contract on behalf of a high-value repeat customer at Prologis’ Midpoint Park, Minworth, Staffordshire.

The floor slab preparation works in Unit B involved the core drill removal of approximately 1,000 No. racking bolts, multiple localised concrete floor slab patch repairs and the removal of all previous tenant installed markings, paint, walkways and residual adhesive to all concrete floor surfaces.

Level Best then progressed on to the 6-stage clean, seal and polish system which commences with a deep thorough clean of the floor slab to remove any dirt, grime and microscopic roughness. The system then progresses through with the application of two powerful components – a densifier and a sealer – which are both worked into the surface of the concrete utilising ride-on and hand-held power trowels. The densifier increases the structural integrity and abrasion capacity of the floor whilst the sealer seals the floor leaving an aesthetic dust-proof easy-clean surface for this industrial unit near Birmingham.

Level Best will now move on to complete the remaining scope of works in Unit A to bring this high-value dilapidation contract to an end.
