Heavy-duty joint repair carried out by Level Best Dilapidations in Yorkshire

Level access roller shutter doorways are generally the most highly trafficked area of a warehouse with the constant delivery of goods in and out, meaning the slab and its construction joints are subjected to the most wear, tear and damage in these locations. This generally leads to the joint across the doorway breaking down.

The Yorkshire-based client was having nothing but issues with this joint and wanted a more substantial and permanent repair carrying out. Level Best Dilapidation Works were contracted to carry out a revolutionary heavy-duty concrete flooring repair. It involves the removal of the existing joint and adjacent broken down defective concrete. The void is then prepared and primed before a heavy-duty transition strip is placed and a high-strength repair mortar reinstated. The area is left to cure before being trafficked.

This doorway repair was carried out over a weekend as not to impact on production schedules and outputs through the main access and egress point into the industrial warehouse.
