Level Best Concrete Floor Renovations have secured a major 200,000 square foot industrial warehouse concrete floor dilapidation, refurbishment and repair scheme in Banbury, Oxfordshire.
Level Best will be mobilising to site instantaneously to commence the warehouse concrete floor repairs ensuring the main contractors tight programme is maintained whilst reducing the time this 200,000 square foot industrial unit is vacant for landlord.
The main scope of works in Banbury, Oxfordshire for Yorkshire-based Level Best will involve the removal of a previous tenant installed epoxy floor paint. The removal of the epoxy floor paint covering has been compounded by the shot blasted warehouse concrete floor surface. This process perforates the floor surface to remove the floor paint prior to exposing the warehouse floor below and polishing back to its base build pre-let condition.
Other works in Banbury, Oxfordshire onsite will involve the infilling of a previous tenant installed pit. Level Best will backfill the void with Type 1 subgrade and subbase stone to bring the level to formation. Dowel bars will be installed in the face of the existing slab providing load-transfer prior to laser installing a new warehouse floor slab in accordance with The Concrete Society’s TR34 guidance document.
