Level Best Concrete flooring, one of the UK’s leading industrial concrete floor repair, refurbishment and dilapidation specialists, have successfully handed over another concrete floor renovation project. The project was located in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire and was completed on behalf of a repeat; client, landlord, client’s agent and building contractor.
To suit the main contractor’s programme of refurbishment works and sequencing, Level Best split the scope of specialist concrete floor refurbishment works into two visits. The first visit in Milton Keynes involved the preparatory floor repairs and remedials involving; racking and fixing bolt full depth diamond drilling, removal and infilling, previous tenant installed line marking and floor paint removal and broken down joint arris repairing using high-strength specialist industrial mortar.
Level Best then returned to the industrial site in Milton Keynes to carry out the final clean, polish and seal of the existing slab. This revolutionary refurbishment system involves the application of a specialist chemical concrete densifier to improve durability and abrasion resistance to create a hard wearing surface for future tenancies. The chemical concrete floor sealer is then applied to the surface leaving a fully sealed low maintenance surface. The final process involves the mastic sealing of the existing expansion joints, providing a full and complete floor renovation process from start to finish, all carried out inhouse by Level Best’s specialist teams.
Yorkshire-based Level Best’s specialist concrete floor refurbishment, repair and dilapidation teams will be mobilising to sites in London, the West Midlands and Northamptonshire to carry out similar concrete floor repair works, with other projects in Newcastle in the North-East of England and Sheffield in South Yorkshire coming up.
