Environmental Social Governance Agenda

INTRODUCTION

Concrete is the most used manufactured material on earth. In its liquid form of a mix of sand, stones, water and cement, it can be poured in almost any shape and sets into a solid form. It is literally the foundation of modern life. Unfortunately this comes with a high environmental cost. The cement used in concrete generates around 2.5 billion tonnes of carbon dioxide per year, 8% of the global total. As a responsible business Level Best Concrete Flooring continually monitor and improve policies and procedures to lessen the impact we have on the environment. These policies and procedures are part of our Environmental Social Governance Agenda. In these pages we focus on how we are changing to use more sustainable mixes of concrete when available and also the procedures we conduct when working with clients and the decision to pour a new slab or to refurbish an existing slab. Additionally we are working to educate our dedicated team of employees and loyal customers, about how we can all lessen the impact of our work on the environment and at the same time continue to provide the very best services and floors which meet our exacting standards and will stand the test of time. We have an ambitious long term sustainability strategy in place and we aim to continually improve this throughout the years.
