Industrial concrete flooring specialist Level Best Concrete Flooring have secured a major refurbishment project in Rugby, Warwickshire. The project consists of the repair, refurbishment, cleaning and polishing of an existing industrial concrete floor slab totalling 35,000 square metres.
This major logistics unit in Rugby, Warwickshire is well known to Yorkshire-based Level Best Dilapidations having completed a major end of tenancy dilapidation and refurbishment project back in 2019. The specialist industrial flooring contractor carried out extensive isolated floor repairs such as full depth racking bolt removals and racking aisle plinth repairs.
This time around, Level Best will be carrying out a lighter refurbishment process with much of the in-depth specialist flooring industrial works completed back in 2019. The light refurbishment will involve minimal localised repairs, following the intermediate tenancy, making good the previous tenants operations returning the slab to a structural and operational base build state. A light floor clean will then be completed.
Level Best’s floor surveying, pre-construction and design team have visited site multiple times to inspect the existing slab and advise on the best course of actions in limiting costs and valuable programme time of a vacant unit based upon the works completed 4 years ago. A thorough slab inspection, survey and initial testing has been completed by Level Best with findings reported back to the project team, client’s agent, and landlord.
