The first phase of works is coming to a close for Level Best Concrete Flooring in Beeston near Nottingham on this major concrete floor dilapidation and refurbishment contract.
Almost 2,500 previous tenant installed racking and fixing bolts have been core drilled out and removed by Level Best’s core drilling operatives in under two weeks onsite. A variety of bolts from racking bolts to machinery fixing bolts have been drilled out and filled utilising a high-strength repair mortar, purpose-built for industrial warehousing uses.
Level Best will now be moving onto the line marking and paint removal throughout the warehouse prior to concrete cleaning, polishing and sealing. Level Best will also be installing a heavy-duty joint repair install running the full extent of the warehouse in Beeston, Nottingham. This heavy-duty joint system is designed to provide load transfer and armoured transition between an existing and extension slab – a location in the industrial warehouse which will see a high volume of traffic from materials handling equipment and forklifts.
