Concrete Floor Removal & Replacement

When a concrete floor is damaged beyond repair, full removal and replacement is often the most effective solution. At Level Best, we manage the entire process in-house, ensuring full control over quality, safety, and scheduling. Our service includes: - Cutting and breaking out the existing slab (Including our new on-site concrete crushing facility for sustainable waste management) - Subbase preparation and levelling - Installation of new, high-performance concrete floors All work is completed by our own skilled operatives using specialist construction equipment, guaranteeing consistency, precision, and efficiency throughout every stage of the project.

Concrete Floor Joint & Crack Repairs

Even the best industrial concrete floors can develop cracks or joint damage over time due to heavy forklift traffic, thermal movement, or natural settlement. If left untreated, these minor issues can escalate into serious structural damage and costly operational downtime. Our specialist repair team provides fast, effective joint and crack repair solutions, including: - Concrete joint sealing and rebuilding - Resin injection for crack stabilisation - Edge spall and impact damage repairs - Surface restoration and re-levelling Using high-quality materials and precision workmanship, we ensure every repair restores performance, safety, and longevity. Our projects are delivered on time and within budget, with proven results across a wide range of industrial and commercial facilities.

Dock Leveller Wall Repairs

Dock leveller areas are particularly vulnerable to damage from heavy goods vehicles, loading equipment, and warehouse traffic. Constant impact can cause cracking, spalling, and structural damage to concrete walls and bays. At Level Best Concrete Flooring, we offer professional dock leveller wall repair services to restore strength, safety, and functionality to your loading areas. Our team: - Conducts detailed assessments of structural damage - Carries out precise concrete reinstatement using durable, high-impact repair materials - Realigns and reforms damaged dock walls, edges, and leveller surrounds - Ensures smooth operation and long-term resistance to future wear Whether you require a single-bay repair or a complete dock leveller refurbishment, Level Best works efficiently to minimise disruption and downtime within your logistics operations.

A word on Concrete Repairs by Sam Wilcox

One problem you sometimes get with floor repairs is when we are replacing part of a slab we need to make sure the new concrete doesn’t sink under load when next to the original slab. If you imagine one part of a fork truck on the old slab and the other part on the new slab there is a possibility of the slab sinking. We fix this by adding steel dowels to the existing slab which joins the slabs together with an extremely strong connection which can be as much as 18” into the older slab. We have to be accurate doing this and so we use a special pneumatic drill that can drill at exactly the same height and with the precise spacing required for the particular application and the drawings we have created or been given. We have two versions of the drill which is virtually hands free and thus removes any potential issues such as movement and at the same time is much less strenuous for the team.
