This large distribution centre located at Marston Gate, Milton Keynes in Bedfordshire requires the warehouse and external concrete floors fully repairing and cleaning in order to attract a new tenant to re let the building. Level Best Concrete Flooring has been awarded the concrete floor refurbishment works and commences on site in March 2025. A number of external concrete bays require fully replacing and Level Best will be crushing the extracted concrete material in order to re use as a new sub base for the sub base to the new concrete floors. The mobile concrete crusher is a new piece of equipment for Level Best and allows the contractor to reduce their carbon footprint whilst carrying out concrete repairs as vehicle movement on and off site is lessened.
In the warehouse Level Best will be removing and replacing damaged floor joints and removing racking bolts from previous barriers, racks and partitions. Hundreds of metres of floor cracks will be structurally repaired and the floor will be polished and sealed upon completion to look shiny and new for the new tenant. This will also increase the lifespan and longevity of the concrete surface as the products used increase the permeability and abrasion resistance of the concrete.
