The paint was bonded extremely well to the surface of the concrete and it took the Level Best floor renovation team all of their skill, knowledge and equipment to remove the floor paint without damaging the surface of the concrete beneath.
When floor paint is fully bonded to the surface of the concrete it tends to last a lot longer without flaking off, however it does make the removal of the paint during the dilapidations process a lot more time consuming and expensive. If however, the floor is polished in the first instance and the floor does not receive any paint the dilapidation process is a lot cheaper, quicker and better for the environment.
